Winnings from casino games in licensed Swiss casinos are tax-free for private individuals under current law (Art. 24 let. i DBG). Winnings from foreign gambling are fully taxable for persons resident in Switzerland and must be declared. We give no tax advice – ask your cantonal tax administration if in doubt.
